What I Really Think...
- F L A K Y Artists! by Chloe
Just because a stereotype exists...particularly an unflattering one...doesn't mean a group's members have to validate it.
The stereotype implies that artists are flaky, late, undependable, and indecisive. Like myths, stereotypes must in part be based in truth because at least in this case...it seems to be spot on. I'm saying this as a dancer and an apprentice lighting designer. I hate the stereotype. I try to discourage it all of the time by making myself crazy trying to fit into a mold that just isn’t possible.

- The Big Christmas Performance by Chloe
Aren’t kids the cutest?
Last night was the annual pre-school Christmas show at the dance studio where I teach ballet to dancers ages two to eleven. This was the first performance of my students for this studio; I was really excited s l a s h nervous. I really wanted them to do a great job so the director and the parents would be happy with me as a teacher. I have taught dance for several years in Dallas to older dancers but that in no way prepared me for this performance which turned out to be an important learning experience for me.

- Dorm Room "Cooking" | No Bake Cookies by Chloe
What college student isn't hungry for something "home-cooked"...or at least not out of a box?
College students are always hungry. Who wouldn't be running around all day and staying up to the next day studying? We're also as generally starved for money and time as we are for mom's cooking. Sooooo...check out this "recipe" my friend Ali shared with me! So good...so easy...and so do-able even in a dorm room!
